Counseling

School counselors play a vital role in supporting the well-being and success of all students. They provide academic guidance, career planning, and social-emotional support through one-on-one meetings, group sessions, and classroom lessons.

Counselors help students develop coping skills, build positive relationships, and set goals for the future. They also collaborate with families and staff to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment. Counseling services are available to all students throughout the school year.

Gateway Middle School recognizes the strengths in every student and builds off of these strengths to promote further growth in his or her academic, career, and social/emotional development. Our mission is to provide students with a nurturing and supportive environment through leadership, advocacy, collaboration, and systemic change in an effort to prepare them for a meaningful future.

Our vision is to provide an environment that creates optimal learning and growth while simultaneously fostering happy and respectful students who strongly desire to contribute to our community.
